An annual look at CPS students’ attainment rates from high school to college

This report provides a close look at how CPS students are progressing to and through high school and college by examining the CPS high school graduation rate, immediate college enrollment rate, and college completion rate. This annual analysis also tracks how these rates have changed over time and disaggregates the data by race/ethnicity and gender, English Learner status, and disability status.

Additionally, the report provides our yearly Post-secondary Attainment Index (PAI), which estimates the number of current CPS ninth-graders who would complete any type of degree or certificate in the next 10 years, if the district’s current rates of attainment were to stay the same for the next decade.
